François Renard

François Renard, an EU antitrust specialist, has relocated to Beijing in November 2008; since then, he has set up and managed Allen & Overy’s Greater China antitrust practice. He will be located in Hong Kong as from summer 2015.
François has almost 20 years of experience advising Western and Asian clients on China, APAC, EU competition laws, including anti-competitive agreements and concerted practices, intellectual property and antitrust interface, abuse of dominant position, antitrust investigations, antitrust compliance, and merger control.
He is listed as a leading lawyer in PLC antitrust cross-border category in China, International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers, Global Competition Review (GCR), Chambers APAC, and IFLR 1000. He is also the winner of the ILO Client Choice Award 2015 for the Competition & Antitrust category in China.
