Tony Ko

Tony is experienced in civil cases and in white-collar criminal matters. He regularly appears as counsel in a variety of courts and tribunals, including the Court of Appeal and the Court of Final Appeal. Tony was appointed by the University of Hong Kong Senate as an External Examiner, and lectured on a part-time basis on Equity and Trusts at City University of Hong Kong.
Tony’s extensive civil practice includes: arbitration, corporate and personal insolvency, civil fraud, shareholder dispute, land dispute, employment dispute, construction dispute, shipping dispute, contentious probate litigation, insurance/personal injury, and judicial review. As for his criminal and quasi-criminal practice, Tony focuses on commercial crime, fraud, corruption and matters related to the securities and financial market.
Tony has advised and acted for clients including the AIA Group, Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Hospital Authority and Medical Council.
Tony is currently a committee member of the Hong Kong Bar Association Special Committee on Competition Law, and previously served as a committee member of the Special Committee on Companies Law.
